CONCRETE AND ASPHALT RECYCLING

Redstone Construction group is taking the “LEED” in recycle in central Arkansas; we are the first road contractor in the central Arkansas to fully integrate recycle into its everyday business. The pavement you drive on today could have literally been on the roof your house yesterday. Shingles from over 1500 homes in the central Arkansas area will be recycled into new asphalt for pavement.

Redstone is able to recycle 99% of your concrete and asphalt waste. Recycled products are either made back into road base or asphalt paving. We take concrete from building demolition and pavement crush and remove any steel send to a recycle facility and reuse this material in base in roads and parking lots and the asphalt re used in new pavement. This year Redstone will eliminate over 3,000 dump truck loads of waste in central Arkansas landfills.

Redstone has the ability to introduce any of the
following recycle methods in your next project:

  • Up to 40% recycled asphalt materials in new asphalt

  • Up to 5% recycled shingles in new asphalt

  • Up to 99% recycled base in road bed materials

  • We can produce warm mix asphalt that requires 14% less fuel and emissions

  • Soy diesel can be used for heating

  • 100% recycled materials in erosion control check dams and construction tracking pads

  • 100% recycled materials in pipe bedding and drainage materials
